WORKERS SHOT, REPORTER KILLED IN FIGHT FOR INCREASED WAGES

The following report was published by the Rapid Response Network (RRN), which is a network offering international solidarity to workers and their struggles facing exploitation and repression. The workers inform those around the world of their needs and their calls-for support through the RRN and their campaigns.

What these workers struggles in Haiti and around the world have been showing us consistently is that the exploitation/domination and repression on workers around the world can only be combatted by our active, organized, and engaged resistance. When workers are united around the world, they can push back on the attacks from the capitalists and their political representatives. We need to build a movement everywhere capable of asserting our collective interests and pushing back against our common enemy.

We encourage you to read this report, examine the worker’s situation and demands in relation to your own, to share and discuss this with others, to take action to support the workers about whom this report is about, and to reach out to us.

Feel free to contact us with any ideas, proposals, or information you have which might be useful towards responding to this or any other calls by workers for support.
